31 Oct 2003 and 26 Nov 2003 all 5 flyable Concordes left Heathrow for the last time, unofficially these flights where called the Ferry Flights.
During these dates me and many other friends from this forum where at Heathrow to witness each take off. It was our last and final time to chase Concorde around Heathrow and bid farewell to a much loved and valued friend.
Earlier on this year I made a website about the last ferry flights.
I put as much as I could remember about each flight, including videos and ATC (which I had down loaded off the internet a very long time ago or found CDs of these flights in boot sales I visit some times). The idea is to show people of the future what the last flights of Concorde where like.
I heard each ferry flight had 100 BA staff onboard, are there people on this forum who flew on one of the
5 Concordes ?
or
Do forum members know people who flew on the last ferry flights ?
Did the ones who flew take any video or photos onboard the flights and afterwards when they landed showing what the atmosphere was like ?
I would like to add all these to the relevant flights so people can see what happened inside and outside of each flight.
The videos and photos would remain the copyright of people who took them, if they didn't want their names mentioned I would respect this and would say
at the end of the video
:-
© (name of plane)- flyer.
Then no one would know who took the videos.
