I assume that the optical glasses are still in the roof of WTSS? How many were there? Did they use special glass? |

Again, I'm not sure offhand ... but I seem to remember there were three. And yes, it would have been special glass, in particular for the infra-red spectrometer. Turcat has mentioned somewhere that he must have been one of the rare people who didn't see the eclipse itself, but that the view of the moon's shadow moving along was absolutely spectacular. CJ |
