Hello all. Well nearly 6 years on from that damp and chilly, yet ever so exciting/emotional final LHR departure of our much loved Speedbird on the 26th
November, and I just happened to come across some old footage on my computer. Had the pleasure to meet up with a handful of you great folk that day at the
Green Man, and along the fence in the pink elephant parking facility where we watched BOAF roar towards Filton. Still remember being chased through that
carpark by their "security" staff.. fantastic.
Also recall listening to the RT on 118.500 as we waited for her departure. I know that was captured and posted earlier on these boards (back in '03), but
does anybody still have that .wav? The one with the AA pilot saying, "concorde, you're beautiful".. Would hugely appreciate if somebody cuold
share that again. I would love to add it to my collection.
Anyway, hope you are all very well indeed.
Regards,
Craig
