This sounds like a great idea.

It is a great idea. That's why we've been holding weddings on AC for years now. What Manchester does today, the world does tomorrow.

Presumably accidentally changing the co-pilots window in the visor is an optional lead to follow? |

I think Filton did the first Wedding once the aircraft had been retired
All Good PR, got a nice bit of local radio news coverage down here yesterday. A single line mentiong the words Brooklands, Weybridge and Concorde at 6pm across London for free is not bad |

Well, perhaps you should ask which expert broke the window to start with before you criticise anything about changing it?

I am very well aware of the circumstances in which the window was broken: this accident has been well documented, but unlike others I am not interested in
the slightest in a witchhunt. Far more important is the fact that the care of AC was exemplary without the support available at other museums up to this point
and since.

I think the issue is that people don't sometimes understand the circumstances when things happen, only that it has happened.
As I understand it, its one of the 2 middle panes on G-BOAC's windscreen that has shattered, so not something that happened on its own. I think its great that all the museums are doing different things to promote their aircraft, pushed in the right channels the media will always pick up on a Concorde Story. |
