My reply, a light hearted one incidentally, illustrated by the winky emoticon was in response to the equally good natured claim that Manchester somehow sets the standard in Concorde presentations using the wedding idea as an example. This particular example has of course been shown not to be the case by Gordon, but we certainly don't want to be drawn into a "We're better than you" exercise that benefits no-one and in fact devalues the uniqueness of all the Concordes in their respective museums.
I fail to see how I can be accused of criticising something that has yet to take place: I have in fact offered a tool that I picked up at the Dovebid auction that might be useful in making the repair when it happens which will bring together a number of "Experts" to restore Charlie to her full beauty, something all Concorde fans wish to see.
