Actually, new British Airways flight Speedbird 1 is not exactly disrespecting history. The flight, I recall, was called "Speedbird Concorde 001" by
controllers, not exactly the same. I am curious if Air France has a flight 001 or 002. When I attempt to search for such a flight, I cannot find any.

I well remember the 2 daily Air France Concorde flights as I live near the flight path from JFK in the States. I could set my clock when I heard the engines.
The arrival, AFR 001, came around 0845 while the departure left after 1300 Eastern Time. My question was not about these flights but if there are new flights
001/002 ?

A quick look on "Air France flight information" for AF001 or AF002 returns:
"We have no information on that flight" One would therefore suppose those flight numbers have not been re-allocated. CJ |
