On 3rd July 2009, 1st Knaphill Scout Group had the opportunity to bivouac under G-BBDG. Thanks to Brooklands museum, 10 scouts and six adults (five of which
are actually children) slept under the delta wings of Concorde in the most surreal circumstances.
I'm not sure if this has been done before, but it truely was a unique, amazing experience, and I want to thank Brooklands for giving us the chance to do this.
This picture was taken around 11 o'clock and shows the scouts setting up their roll mats and sleeping bags.
I'm wearing the yellow cap and slept with my head by the nose gear, feet facing to the back of the plane.
Great fun.
Cheers.
