I stayed in a Ramada Hotel near JFK recently. It was an absolute dump, fit only for closure and demolition. Not my choice, provided free by the airline after a
missed connection. But... Over the desk at reception was a giant Concorde model, in Landor colours with the British Airways name tippexed out. There was also a
function room at the hotel called the Concorde Room. I presume this hotel must, at one time, have had some Concorde connection, flight crew stop-overs? Anyone
know any more?
