Thanks for the video...still alive, but on life support!

Thanks for that, but the endless panning left and right and zooming in and out makes for difficult viewing. A movie camera does not mean the camera has to
move! The movement should be in the scene being filmed.

It's just a first try, a amateur and quick video; as it pleased you, maybe I will made another one more pro, longer and with more details.

Roger 'thamesweb',
Give the guy a chance! My first videos were no better.... Do I have to remind you of some of the 'end of Concorde era' videos, with trees and fences and pans and zooms and all, that we now cherish? I appreciated his view of 'SD 'alive', filmed over Alex's shoulder. Unique..... How sad it isn't done on Alpha Fox, Alpha Charlie and Alpha Alpha.... |

Great video. It is a shame more are not wired to allow the nose to move or even with the dial lights on. I think there would be a good number of people who
would pay to experience the cockpit, flick the switches while sitting there and have the nose and screen come up and down infront of them.

SD is Virtualy operational just on Life Support.
To get the Nose moving is harder thatn it looks. |

Unique.....
How sad it isn't done on Alpha Fox, Alpha Charlie and Alpha Alpha.... Couldn't agree more Christiaan ! At least this Concorde still has some life left in it, and isn't totally cut off from what it used to be. Must plan a trip out there to see it. Paul |

I would take the risk and I am sure many more would to, they could always sign a disclaimer, anyway I really enjoyed seeing Concorde powered up and all the
instruments working, i esspecialy liked the footage when you zoomed in on the nose/visor lever being operated, because i got to see my own concorde instrument
(the total fuel contents gauge to the left of the nose/visor lever) what it looks like when it is lit up, saves me having to risk damaging the electrics trying
to make mine light up!
In your next video please try to get some footage of the seldom seen circuit breaker panel behind the captains seat, and if you want you could switch on the lighting of that panel, then i would get to see my C/B panel lighting control panel being operated! (i think the panel might be slightly different on the AF Concorde) even if you dont turn the panel on, it would be nice to see it as its never shown in cockpit photos or videos. It was nice seeing a production Concorde alongside a prototype. Keep up the good work. |
