Lest we forget how it all started, today, Jan. 21st, is the 31st Anniversary of commercial passenger services by British Airways and Air France. British flew
from LHR> BAH and Air France from CDG>RIO. Things were better then and looking bright for aviation. Orders were placed for Concordes by other carriers.
Postage stamps were issued to commemorate these flights; I have some first-day covers. Now, Concordes are in museums like relics of the past; how sad. These
magnificent aircraft should still be in flight and perhaps improved upon to be more fuel-efficient, fly quieter, fly longer distances and offer lower fares.
What were the flight numbers of these 2 historic flights? The aircraft were G-BOAA and F-BVFA.
