Have a dig around the forum - we had an identical thread to this (including video!) a few weeks ago!

Go to www.airliner.at click on an aircraft in the picture, then click on Concorde, then click on Weiter at the bottom of the page, then on Video (New) at the bottom of that page, and then the video (this is the link but it appeared to fail: www.veranstalltungstechni...-isdn.wmv)

I expect the original thread has dropped off the edge of the world by now.
This guy is pretty unbelievable ... He's already built two Concordes. Over 14 ft long (scale about 1:14), max speed over 150 mph. If you want to build one too, he intends to market the basic components in fibreglass early next year. I thought he'd cheated and put pics of a real Concorde on his site ... until I looked at it landing ... ever seen a Concorde land on a grass airfield? As for his 747, it needed a CofA from the German equivalent of the CAA, because it was too big to qualify as just a "flying model"!! Christian PS Never seen the video. Somebody can post a link that works? |

Any chance of one of these appearing on the UK airshow circuit?

In the UK, to fly models over 7kg may need local ATC permission and models exceeding 20kgs need CAA certification!

So these would actually need a G-xxxx registration to be used in the UK? Interesting.....
Is there anything un-issued in the G-BOAx sequence [ apart from G-BOAQ, which I gather would never ever be issued because they don't issue anything with a "Q" in ]? |
