I presume that the job would not have taken all that long as it seems that all that would have been needed to be done is for the 202 nose to be removed from DG , transported to LHR and after the 216 nose was removed from AF for the 202nose to be attached in its place. Am i correct?

We all know Concorde was capable of Mach 2 at 60k ft. But - what was the IAS at that speed and height? And would this equate to her maximum speed at sea level?

Bristol Evening Post

British Airways has shut down the computer-controlled Concorde flight simulator at Airbus and could move it to a museum in Surrey, the Evening Post can reveal.
