Received My Concorde Medal

I just received my Concorde medal and first-day cover from the Royal Mint. I am very pleased although I wish the medal was silver. The obverse shows a Concorde front-view like I used to see when waiting here at JFK for her to land. The reverse shows 3 different views of Concorde, including a side-view of the droop nose. 2 stamps which say l ST are included as well as a special Concorde 40th Anniversary postmark. I recommend this. What does the l ST mean?

Entex Plastic 1/100 Model

I made an Entex Concorde Model from Entex over 20 years ago. I loved the large scale but it was not the production Concorde. It had a short tail and the droop nose, which actually moved, was stubby-looking. Sadly, while the model lasted, the decals (transfers) did not. The Air France decals have mostly come-off. I should have sprayed it with lacquer back then. I also have a beautiful Laker DC-10 1/100 from the same company but alas the transfers have peeled-off about 50%.

A toy Concorde g-bbdg is listed on ebay. Beware, the starting price is ridiculously high! I would even say out of reach.
I don't think he will have any chance of selling his item unless a rich collector shows up.
