I forgot the date of that wonderful tour of G-BOAD at the Intrepid where we met Leslie Scott. I hope all had a memorable day. I wish you could all return here to NY. Cliff & I were in New York last weekend and the first item on our agenda was a visit to the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. We managed to pick the coldest day of the year.

As our yellow cab pulled up by the entrance of the Intrepid Museum at Pier 86, we could see G-BOAD clearly from the road. It took approximately 2 years for the re-build of the Pier, now 112 square feet. Pier 86...

Hello from Holland,

I just discovered this excellent and very informative site about Concorde and the forum.
I'm an aviation nut, working for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines for over 23 years.

In the '80s and '90s I've tried to fly on as many aircraft types as possible, and visited many interesting places all around the globe.
Naturally Concorde was also very high on my wishlist, but as the tickets were very expensive, I thought this would never be...

I`m interested if anyone have information about Concorde visiting in Finland. First of these was on 24th December -84 to Rovaniemi, and the second to Helsinki on 22nd May(?) -85, transporting soccer fans to FIN vs GB match.
Which plane this or these were? And, where is the nearest museum from Finland, where could see Concorde? Germany, maybe..?

My parents flew Concorde from LHR to JFK on May 22, 1999.
The aircraft was G-BOAG. If someone has any other information regarding this flight ( such as flight #, crew,
departure and arrival times ), would you kindly reply, please?
I'm going to fill in mom's and dad's flight certificates, and have them framed.

Also, I understand that there is very limited, if any, information regarding flights in the 1980's, but I'll toss this one

I am a fellow Concorde fan, following all the progress on Delta Golf and trying to make my way (slowly) around all the Concordes in Museums.

Please help me with identifying the Concorde which flew the route below, I'd be really grateful and hopefully it will turn out to be one I can visit (ie not AB or AE!). Anyway:-

1.10.95 - LHR to Aqaba BA 9048 Capt'n Richard Boas.
